Useful thing. According to the design, its coasters should be open-for this there are two stops. But, with a little pressure, you can close and completely. The size is perfect.

I love my Model X but I'm always looking for interesting and easy modifications. There are actually several other console trays available but this was the only one I've seen with cup holders. The Tesla Model X has lots of cup holders but not necessarily in the best place. The ones under the sliding armrests are too close to your arm (hence the armrests) and the slotted removable ones in the console bucket area are huge but take space away from storing stuff in there. So I looked for a way to organize stuff and still have cupholders. So I bought this one to try it. It's actually better constructed than I imagined. It seems pretty well made. Each section has a rubber mat that fits perfectly to keep items from rolling around. What is really nice are the 2 metal buttons that allow you to leave the door partially open to use the cupholders. Those buttons seem well engineered and look like they will survive lots of opening and closing of the sliding door. Works fine for my needs and covers the large space below where I can store things.
If you've got a slimmer drink container you use regularly that just rattles around in the huge space you have with the included drink holders down there and don't like the arm ones, then this is for you. Fits in the car too, forgot to take a pic. This sits on top of the large included drink holders, so you could remove it if you needed them for a big mug. I left them in place under it, along with the charge port adapter. You also get some non-slip tray space that can have the cover over it while still using the drink holder, or be closed completely.
I really needed this for my setup. I don't like the phone holders on the dash and this allows me to use a standard cup holder one without it being too low or too wobbly. See my pictures and if you are like me and like the phone at your fingertips (don't look at it when driving tho) you'll want this setup. And besides that, it just functions better for a drink holder IMO than stock. Do not move around either, nice and tight, and no tape or anything needed.

I put this in my Tesla Model X and am so happy! I was constantly hitting the drink with my elbow because of the odd placement of the top cup holder. My problem is now solved and I have extra storage above the deep storage. Thanks!
Very quick delivery. EASY to install just need to soften the rubber. I install it in my MODEL X. High qualify just the same as the one from Tesla but much lower price. Dramatically increase the comfortability of driving. Much higher performance/price among many options. Highly recommended.
There's not a whole lot of storage in the model x, but this allows for much more efficient use of that space. Very pleased with this purchase.
This actually fits in that small useless opening. It only holds a few things but it’s so helpful to have a place for those few important items. It holds my garage door opener, small tissues. I could use it for sunglasses in the summer. It perfectly matches the decor of our Tesla interior!
The one I got works perfectly. The spring-loaded buttons stop the Tesla sliding door, but I usually put random non-cup things in the cup holders. It pops out easily so I can store stuff like a USB hub and a cloth or tissues underneath it.
The center console in the Tesla Model S and X is too deep to be useful. This Center Console Organizer gives you two small cup holders that are lower and out of the way, it works for soda cans or thin bottles but not larger cups. There are two flat shelves for a phone and glasses. it is designed for the Tesla cover to stop at the cup holders. It is still easy to remove to access the large compartment underneath which can hold gloves and other stuff you don't want to see.
